20 Minute Chili

It’s COLD here in Indiana…which means it’s chili season in our house.  We love all different kinds of chili but this recipe is one of our favorites and the absolute BEST part…it only takes 20 minutes to make.  It’s really simple to make and is so delicious!

Ingredients:  1 pound of ground meat (beef or turkey), 1 onion diced, 1 packet of chili seasoning,  14.5 oz can of petite diced tomatoes, 2 cans of beans (I prefer 1 kidney and 1 black bean) and 1 can of tomato sauce.

Brown the meat in a pan until almost completely cooked then drain the grease.  Add in the chopped onions and sauté for a few minutes to soften the onions and finish cooking the meat.

Add in the remaining ingredients and let simmer for about 10 minutes.  You can top it with cheese and/or sour cream but it’s also good just by itself.
