slow cooker Candied Pecans

- 4 cups pecans
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- In a large bowl, beat an egg white until frothy.
- Mix the pecans in with the egg white and stir in the sugar and the brown sugar.
- Add in the melted butter, corn syrup, and vanilla.
- Spray the crock-pot with a cooking spray or line with foil, then add the pecan mixture.
- Cook for 3 hours on low, stirring the pecans every half hour.
- Remove the pecans from the crock-pot and let dry on parchment or wax paper, separating them as they dry.
