Homemade Granola Bars

- 2 cups of old fashioned oats
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup of light brown sugar
- ½ cup wheat germ
- ¾ tsp. salt
- ¾ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup of honey
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- approx. ¾ cup of extra ingredients like mini chocolate chips, peanut butter, craisins… whatever you prefer
- Mix all the dry ingredients together
- Add the vegetable oil and then the rest of the wet ingredients
- Add in your preferred "extras"
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
