Homemade Granola Bars

Ingredients
  • 2 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup of light brown sugar
  • ½ cup wheat germ
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • ¾ tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup of honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • approx. ¾ cup of extra ingredients like mini chocolate chips, peanut butter, craisins… whatever you prefer
Instructions
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together
  2. Add the vegetable oil and then the rest of the wet ingredients
  3. Add in your preferred "extras"
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
