Field Preparation:
- each player with a ball
Description:
- players dribble across field
- free dribbling
- touch the ball with every step
- dribble with inside of foot
- dribble with outside of foot
- dribble with inside and outside of foot
- dribble with sole of foot
Variation:
- dribble shoulder to shoulder with another player
- on coach’s command players turn with the ball
- on coach’s command players accelerate for 5 yards and then slow down again
- on coach’s command players juggle moving forward
Coaching Points:
- close control
- soft touch
- contact surface of foot
- change of direction and speed
