Basic Information
Age Group: (5-7yrs) (8-11yrs) (12-15yrs) (16-Adult)
Number of Players: 8+
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10-15 min.
Emphasis: Finishing, Dribbling
Field Preparation:
- each player with a ball
- 2x goals with goalies
- good supply of cones
- good supply of balls for continuous play
Description:
- the first players from each group dribble simultaneously around the cones and shoot on goal once they comes out of the cone covered area as shown
- next two players repeat sequence
Variation:
- specify how players must shoot (left or right foot, inside or laces, high or low etc.)
- both players dribble around cones until coach gives a signal to shoot on goal
- both players must dribble around a cone (360 degrees) and then shoot on goal
- players must try to beat the goalie by dribbling around him
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
