Basic Information

Age Group: (5-7yrs) (8-11yrs) (12-15yrs) (16-Adult)
Number of Players: 6+
Difficulty: Easy-Medium
Time: 15-25 min.
Emphasis: Dribbling, Attacking, Defending

Field Preparation:

  • 2 teams
  • grid (40yds x 50yds)
  • cones to mark off area
  • 6 cone goals
  • pinnies

Description:

  • each team defends and attacks three cone goals
  • teams score by dribbling through one of the three cone goals

Variation:

  • 2 points for successfully beating an opponent prior to dribbling through a cone goal
  • 4 cone goals on each goal line
  • minimum of 3 touches for all players
  • add wall players
  • teams score by stopping the ball dead on opponent’s goal line
  • adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
