Emphasis: Finishing, Passing, Possession, Attacking, Defending

Field Preparation:

  • 2 teams
  • grid (35yds x 50yds)
  • 2 goals with goalies
  • cones to mark off area
  • good supply of balls for continuous play
  • pinnies


  • play 5v5 with two neutral players
  • goals are awarded 3 points if the final pass comes from a neutral player otherwise only one
  • neutral players cannot score


  • limit number of touches for neutral players
  • adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
