Basic Information

Age Group: (8-11yrs) (12-15yrs) (16-Adult)
Number of Players: 6+
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 5-15 min.
Emphasis: Passing, Possession

Field Preparation:

  • grid (15yds x 20yds)
  • 3 zones (5yds x 20yds)
  • cones to mark off area
  • pinnies optional

Description:

  • attackers in the outer zones and defenders in the middle
  • players must stay in their zone
  • attackers can score by connecting seven passes across middle zone without losing possession
  • switch roles if defenders intercept 5 passes or after 3 minutes

Variation:

  • limit number of touches
  • add a third defender who can enter the attacker’s zone
  • adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
