This time of year we all seem to hunker down in our houses. It’s also a time where we make and eat the most sweets (at least in our house!). In a few weeks the kids the will be off of school and before long you might hear the dreaded 5 letter word…BORED. Why not have them help you make some of the desserts this year? I’m sure you will have plenty of opportunities for them to help in the kitchen. Have them whip up a batch of peanut butter bars for that holiday party or help with the fudge for your neighbors!
Here are 5 NO BAKE Treats to Make with Your Kids:
Microwave Fudge
This fudge is so easy to make and doesn’t even require a candy thermometer! If you have little kids just be careful with the VERY hot liquid. Maybe just let them do all the measuring.
Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies
These cookies are ready in no time flat. There is some stovetop prep but these can be made in about 10 minutes.
Peanut Butter Bars
These are some of the easiest and tastiest bars I have ever had!! This recipe is so simple to throw together and only requires a microwave so most kids could make this by themselves.
EASY Freezer Cake
Everything in this cake is cold so even really little kids can help. Have them smash up the Oreos or candy…my kids love that part!
Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies
Another really quick recipe, but this one does require some stove top heating. Great for when you need need those cookies FAST. 😉
