Field Preparation:
- grid (18yds x 18yds)
- center grid (6yds x 6yds)
- cones to mark off area
- repeat setup to accommodate the entire team
Description:
- two players stand in the center grid with four more players standing around the outside, each having a ball
- one outside player passes to the center player and calls out the name of another outside player before he
- receives the ball back
- player in the center turns and makes a run towards that player up to the edge of the grid and repeats the sequence
- challenge to keep passing sequence going without errors for 60 sec.
- which grid can keep going the longest without an error?
Variation:
- one-touch for players in the center
- specify how players must pass/receive (left or right foot, inside or outside foot, high or low etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
