Basic Information
Age Group: (5-7yrs) (8-11yrs) (12-15yrs) (16-Adult)
Number of Players: 8+
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10-20 min.
Emphasis: Attacking, Defending
Field Preparation:
- 2 teams
- grid (40yds x 50yds)
- cones to mark off area
- 2 goals with goalies
- pinnies
- good supply of balls for continuous play
Description:
- each team defends and attacks one goal with goalie
- goal scorer is replaced by a teammate waiting at the side line
- game continues during substitution
- if ball goes out of bounce it is dribbled back in
Variation:
- players get substituted if they commit a foul or get the ball out of bounce
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
