When your kids walk in the door after a practice or a big game there is a pretty good chance they are ravishing! And, they will quickly grab anything and everything in site and start eating away!
What a body craves and needs after a workout is to rehydrate with liquids and repair muscles with protein.
BEST POST-PRACTICE SNACKS FOR ON-THE-GO-KIDS
We need to make sure that our athletes aren’t coming home and grabbing a sugar filled granola bar or a bag of chips after their practices and games. Keep some chocolate milk and other protein filled foods around the house. It’s best if these snacks can be tossed in a practice bag so kids can get them immediately when practice is over!
