Basic Information
Age Group:(5-7yrs) (8-11yrs) (12-15yrs)
Number of Players: 3+
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10-15 min.
Emphasis: Finishing, Passing
Field Preparation:
- groups of three
- each group with a ball
- grid (12yds x 30yds)
- 1 cone goal (6-8yds)
- repeat setup to accommodate the entire team
Description:
- one player acts as a goalkeeper of the cone goal in the middle
- the two other players stay opposite from each other trying to score through the cone goal
- if the goalkeeper makes a save, he must throw the ball to the shooter on the opposite side of the
- grid to continue the sequence
- player with most goals wins
- switch roles after 3-5 minutes
Variation:
- specify how players must shoot (left or right foot, inside or laces etc.)
- limit number of touches
- adjust size of grid depending on the age and ability of the group
