Field Preparation:
- 2 teams
- grid (30yds x 40yds)
- 2 goals with goalies
- good supply of cones to mark off area
- good supply of balls for continuous play
- pinnies
Description:
- play 5v5
- each team must stay in their own half
- objective is to score a goal by shooting from your own half
- one attacker is allowed into the opponent’s half to go for a rebound
- the defending team tries to block all shots
Variation:
- teams must connect 5 passes before they can score
- limit number of touches
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
