Zig Zac # 1
The objective of this particular task would be to strengthen the dribbling ability of younger players. Children’s soccer dribbling drills are essential to include in your sessions so that your players receive a good foundation in soccer technique that may stick with them throughout their lives. Dribbling a soccer ball is probably the essential element of soccer. Fortunately, with a bit of dedication and exercise, you’ll be correctly dribbling a ball very quickly.

Field Preparation:
- each group with ball
- cones to mark off area
Description:
- players dribble around cones and pass it back as shown
Variation:
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- players make a self pass and receive it at the last cone and then dribble zig zac back to the start (next players goes when previous player stops his ball in front of him – and/or gives a high five)
- make it competitive
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
