Typically when I think about watching my boys play baseball, the first image that comes to mind is of me sitting in a chair, wearing a tank, ice water in hand and enjoying the sunshine.
Now, let’s talk about the reality of baseball in late March and early April. Dreary. Cold. Wet. Cold. Windy. Cold. Yeah, you get the picture. Early baseball season is not so picturesque.
Obviously, after having sat through 8 years of watching baseball, I have clearly survived! But I would not have survived with out my Lava Buns! Nothing can replace them and nothing will keep you warmer!
I have had my Lava Buns for many, many years…let me tell you how awesome they are. Basically they are a seat cushion with a heatable pad in the middle. Do you happen to have a casserole carrier…you know, the kind that you take the heat pack out, throw it in the microwave for a bit and then put it in the carrier to keep your food warm? Lava Buns has the same heat pack in the middle and it stays warm for hours! Really, when my bum is warm, the rest of my body is too! That doesn’t mean I still don’t use a blanket to throw over my lap…I do! I am innately FREEZING all of the time.
Amazingly, I have people ask me all of the time about my Lava Buns when they see me carrying them. At around $30 the Lava Buns are a bit of investment, but you definitely get your money’s worth. I’ve had mine for over 8 years and they are still going strong. I couldn’t live without them.
