In case you couldn’t tell by now, I love to make meals that I can wrap in foil, toss in a thermal bag and send with the boys as they head out the door. I do about all I can to keep them from eating concession stand food!
The reality is, I prefer we all sit around the dinner table and have a meal together (yes, I get excited when we get rain outs…it means we get an evening at home which is few and far between!), but because the scurrying during the dinner hour is inevitable, I continue to grow my list of “on-the-go” meal ideas.
Pizza Burgers is a meal that my husband used to eat when he was a kid. I haven’t made these in years…but now I’m reviving his childhood!
The prep is super easy. After browning the ground beef, you mix everything together in one pan, toss on top of halved hamburger buns and bake briefly and serve (or wrap up and send with the kids).
