Walking Tacos


Our family is constantly eating meals on the go because of a busy sports season. You can still feed your family a home cooked meal with these Walking Tacos.

Walking Tacos is a fabulous on-the-go meal for those nights when everyone is running out the door and spending the night out at ball fields!

It’s easy to prep this meal quickly…simply cook up some taco meat, chop up your favorite taco toppings. We like to use lettuce, tomatoes and onions. By then you have a meal ready to go.  Basically it’s taco salad in a bag!

To keep things as easy as possible, I like to divide up the ingredients into baggies full of meat and toppings, in separate bags, of course. Then when it is time to eat, we can just dump the meat and toppings into the chip bag, mix it up and eat away!

Ingredients
  • Fritos and/or Doritos in snack sized bags
  • prepared taco meat
  • lettuce
  • onion
  • tomato
  • cheese
Instructions
  1. Crunch chips in bag.
  2. Add ½ c. taco meat.
  3. Add toppings to bag, mix with a fork and eat!
