We all want our kids to be healthy. (Especially after the holidays, when they’ve had so much sugar!) BUT sometimes it can be hard to get them to eat things that are good for them, am I right? My kids have always been pretty healthy eaters but it seems the older they get, the more they want junk food. We have a few go-to snacks that are healthy and the kids love Their favorite is a quick parfait that they can make themselves.
Ingredients: Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla), granola, and Cuties.
Then you simply layer the ingredients…yogurt first, granola and then slices of mandarin. Repeat and EAT!
If we need to bring a snack with us to a practice after school, we just put it in a to-go container. You can find some great container ideas HERE.
My kids can make this snack quickly and it always feels like a treat. BUT if we are in a rush and there’s no time to whip up a parfait, they love Cuties all by themselves. Cuties are one of the few snacks that my kiddos know they can have without asking.
They are easy for the kids to peel themselves and the perfect sweet, healthy snack for curbing those sweet cravings!
The kids also love the fun stickers that are on every Cutie!
We would love to see how you encourage healthy snacks! Share photos of your kids’ sweetest moves on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter with #IWantCuties and find more great snack ideas at Cuties Facebook.
