Ladies if you ever wanted your man to help you with party planning, here’s your chance. You can focus on the food and send them out for the decor….or just leave him home and have all the fun yourself! (The hardware store is my happy place.)
Roll of Masking Paper (found in paint supplies)
This paper is SO versatile and I use it for just about every party I have. It’s a great table runner that you can write on and throw away after the party. Add some lines and yardage markers to create an easy football field. Get details for making your own runner HERE.
Yard of inexpensive artificial turf (found with bulk carpet)
This stuff is super cheap and adds some texture to your table. A simple strip down the center of table is all you need.
Green scour pads (found with cleaning supplies)
I know this might sound weird for a “party” decor, but the inexpensive pads make a great banner. They have a turf feel and only only take seconds to turn into flags. Check out this tutorial for step-by-step details: HERE.
Metal Buckets (found with cleaning supplies)
Metal buckets make great serving dishes, especially for things like chips. The hardware store has these in all different sizes and they are reusable. When the party is over, they stack together and store easily. TIP: Use bowls upside, under some of the buckets to add some height to your table.
