We are always trying to come up with different options for lunch. My kids make their own lunches and PB&J are their go-to, but even a kid can only eat the same thing for so long!
We use this chart to help them make good choices and to also ensure that their lunch isn’t full of junk. I do spot checks a few times a week, too.
They want vaiety, and I can’t blame them. So we came up with our version of a Lunchable: a taco bowl take-n-make. We have taco night almost every week, so on those nights I just make a little extra meat for lunches. They fill our to-go containers with taco toppings and mini tortilla bowls. Then I heat up a thermos of meat to add to their lunchbox.

These little taco bowls are easy for them to hold and don’t take up a lot of room. The best part for the kids is that they get to make them at school! 😉
